Before the first move
The board highlights legal moves and enforces captures. Three rules explain most of what you will see during a game.
Move diagonally on dark squares
A regular piece moves one empty diagonal square toward the opponent's side of the board.
Take a capture when one is available
Jump over an adjacent opponent into the empty square beyond it. Captures are mandatory here, and a piece keeps jumping when another capture is available.
Reach the far side to become a king
Kings can move and capture in both directions. You win by taking every opposing piece or leaving the opponent with no legal move.
Play a round here
Try a game against AI, invite a friend to a private room, or use a public table when you want an opponent quickly.

Can I play Checkers with one friend?
Yes. Start a private two-player game and send your friend the invite link. Optional video chat can stay beside the board.
Can I practise Checkers against AI?
Yes. Solo mode gives you a computer-controlled opponent without waiting for another player.
Do I have to capture when a jump is available?
Yes. This version enforces mandatory captures and continued jumps when the same piece can capture again.
How do I win?
Capture all opposing pieces or leave your opponent without any legal move.
